Hmm.. So what does it mean when you dream about people in your life from years ago. Like old teachers, old friends and family members I have not spoken to in years. As a therapist I should have some understanding of this, but I am not too sure.
Owls have been used to symbolize wisdom, knowledge, and intuition; mystery, un-conscience, silent observation, protection and transition. Owls have also been described as having an ability to see things that are hidden, have foresight and insight into hidden truths.
This is how I feel I function in my life as a mother, wife, daughter, sister, aunt, friend and child therapist.
This blog will follow my life as the owl of my family as I cope with transition, mental illness, crazy kids and extended family, and my work as a child therapist.

To some extent, either one, or a few of these disorders are found in various members of my family. No wonder I became a psychotherapist!
